it's taken a whole lotta nudges from friends but i'm excited to finally be here!
i'm kind of having that little fish in a big pond feeling and i'm not quite sure yet if i'm even going to be any good at this blogging thing.. but i've never been one to back down from a challenge..
so here goes!

without getting too serious, i just wanted to start off by saying how stoked i am for 2013! i feel like this new year has brought with it a contagious electric energy that has permeated hearts and souls everywhere inspiring all to take advantage of this sweet life we have been given. don't get me wrong, i've had a few bumps and bruises (literally, i'm counting 5 bruises right now) these first two weeks of the new year, but the promise and hope of a successful year clouds any negativity that has come my way.
so my advice for the year?....find the positive in all that life brings you. some things will be in your favor and some things won't. don't be discouraged if things don't go your way. find the positive! then move forward. don't let anything or anyone bring you down.
ok enough serious stuff...let's talk fashion!!
i always like to have a mental list of things i want to add to my closet and one of the things that i've finally been able to check off is camouflage.
i found this camo scarf at forever 21 the other day while i was in line waiting to check out. it was in the men's section and for only $10.80 i haaad to have it. find it here!
i paired my new camo scarf with a cream lace top from charlotte russe, a mustard corduroy skirt from urban outfitters and anne michelle heels i found at dechoes for $10.
(dechoes is one of my favorite resale/vintage stores in orlando!)
if you want to add some camo fashion to your closet but don't want to get the same ole same ole oversized jackets or baggy cargo pants that this print is usually known for, i've got a bunch of different camo clothes and accessories for all you fashionistas and fashionistos to check out!!
